It’s been awhile since I have posted.  Life has been busy and stressful…lots of new things to embrace.  Tamara is home for a few weeks, so that is great!  It changes the atmosphere in our home immensely which is nice.  We are heading to Calgary for a few days with Matt and Jesika.  That will be fun, just hanging out and doing whatever.  I am really looking forward to that.  Jerry and I have not done any winter holidays this year and we are showing the wear!  Doing some good reflecting and reading during this Lenten Season.  James Houston put together a couple of volumes for daily reading from the writers and authors of “old”.  Reading some of Amy Carmichael who was a missionary to India and spent the last 20 years of her life confined to her room as an invalid.  It has made me appreciate that I can still get up and go to work and enjoy the day.  Often I feel overwhelmed with life around me, but I stop to just look at the bright sky, enjoy the sun coming up in the East, and enjoy the sparkling snow under the bright sun.  It has been raining and it has been icy cold, but I can still walk, talk, eat and enjoy life.  God is good!
